The collective agreement between the parties expired in March last year, and negotiations have been ongoing since then. SPF is leaving the talks because the parties cannot agree on which company will employ the pilots.
The union says it cannot accept that permanent employees are denied the job security they should expect.
"Our members at Braathens are forced to work through creative staffing solutions, where people within the group are hired out in several stages through their own staffing companies," the press release says.
The next step may be mediation before a potential conflict breaks out, the association writes.
