Compared to the previous quarter, the figure is now revised upwards from a previous increase of 0.1 percent to an increase of 0.5 percent. It was also somewhat better than what analysts had predicted.
Also on an annual basis, there is a revision upwards, from previously 0.9 percent to 1.4 percent.
"Growth increased slightly during the second quarter of the year with strong contributions from fixed gross investments and inventories," says Jessica Engdahl, head of section at SCB in a press release.
