Sweden's bandy masters bounced back from a shock loss to Finland and secured a place in the World Cup final. They beat Norway 8–2 in the semi-final in Pori.

Sweden's 3–4 loss to Finland in the group final on Friday evening was the Swedish team's first World Cup defeat since 2019.

But the Swedes bounced back and took an easy, predictable victory in the semi-final against Norway.

The Swedes scored six goals in the first half and took the lead through Christoffer Edlund after just three minutes.

Sweden played well, but conceded two goals before halftime, both from corners.

Sweden had changed goalkeepers for the semi-final when Anton Andersson of Sirius replaced Henrik Kjellsson of Västerås.

Both Christoffer Edlund and William Arvidsson scored two goals. Villa-Lidköping's Arvidsson leads the World Cup scoring chart with 23 goals so far.

When the teams met in the group stage, Sweden won 12–1.

Finland will probably be waiting in the final on Sunday. The home nation will meet the USA in its semi-final on Saturday evening and is a huge favorite.
