After two straight elimination victories, a record 34-0 against Hungary and 28-0 against the Netherlands, the toughest opposition so far awaited against Norway, which was also on two straight victories.
But there was never any doubt.
After just two minutes in Pori, Sweden led 2-0 in front of 152 spectators after Martin Landström and William Arvidsson found the net.
Then the goals came in a steady stream, six in each half. Christoffer Edlund, Joel Broberg and Vladimir In-Fa-Lin scored two goals each.
Felix Callander scored Norway's goal, reducing the score to 1-10.
Sweden has a 74-1 goal difference after three matches.
Two group stage matches remain for the Swedes - on Thursday against the USA and on Friday, the group final against Finland.
Semi-finals and medal matches will be played this weekend.
