Williot Swedberg's success caused the greatness of Real Madrid to shake and finally fall. The truth is that I can barely think right now, the Swedish striker tells the newspaper La Voz de Galicia.

The 21-year-old scored twice as Celta Vigo shocked the Spanish league second-tier side and won 2-0 at the mighty Bernabéu late on Sunday evening.

Swedberg received the attention he deserved in the Spanish media.

"I'm very happy. It was a match where we had to fight hard. We knew we had to run a lot, work hard defensively, but that we would have the chances that could win the match for us," he tells La Voz de Galicia.

Swedberg came on for Pablo Duran in the second half, with the score tied at 0–0. Seven minutes later, the U21 international headed in Celta's sensational opening goal with his heel.

“Seems to come naturally”

But he wasn't ready for the evening. In added time, he dribbled – almost walking – past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and rolled in 2–0.

The goals were his second and third against the reigning Champions League champions at the stadium and his fourth overall against Real.

"It seems to come naturally to me. I wish it was like this against every team," says Swedberg.

He paid tribute to coach Claudio Giráldez and his teammates.

We always talk about where there is space and that helps a lot. I have to thank him and my teammates for finding me there, in the dangerous areas.

Swedberg has had an injury-filled season, missing eight games in October and November and has just returned.

"This is fantastic for us. We came from two difficult games, maybe even three, and this victory is good for us to continue and finish the year strong," Swedberg continues.

Starfelt a rock

Defensively, national team midfielder Carl Starfelt put in an excellent performance. Real's world stars became increasingly frustrated as the match wore on. Their anger was directed at the referee, who responded by waving both yellow and red cards.

Fran García and Álvaro Carreras were both forced to leave the field and substitute Endrick complained so intensely that he was also sent off.

Real Madrid have won just two of their last seven matches in all competitions. They face Manchester City in the Champions League at home to the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday.

Celta Vigo hosts Bologna in the Europa League on Thursday.
