The heat pump manufacturer Nibe, which presented figures for the first quarter this morning, was the day's big loser. The share fell 5.8 per cent.
The winner was the defence group Saab, which, like its European competitors, rose after Germany made commitments that the country will allocate 5 per cent of GDP to defence. The share lifted 3.3 per cent.
Also on the plus side were the telecom companies Tele2 and Telia, up 2.8 per cent and 2.6 per cent respectively. The investment company Kinnevik rose 2.1 per cent.
On the currency market, the krona strengthened slightly against both the dollar and the euro. At the close of the stock exchange, one dollar cost 9.75 kronor and one euro 10.89 kronor.
On the leading European stock exchanges, the trend was positive. The indices in Frankfurt and London rose by approximately 0.5 per cent.
