Among other things, the violent Nazi group Aktivklubb Sverige is planning a gathering. On social media, they write that they plan to "steer up" actions in Stockholm over the weekend. According to TV4 Nyheterna, it is planned for Saturday.
However, they have not applied for any permission from the police.
"The police are aware that there are plans for a form of demonstration that is not permitted today. So they are monitoring whether resources need to be allocated," says police spokesperson Rebecka Landberg.
On Sunday, however, the far-right Alternative for Sweden party was granted permission for a public gathering.
According to the party, it is a torchlight procession to commemorate Charles XII, who fell during the siege of Fredrikssten Fortress in Fredrikshald, Norway, now Halden, on November 30, 1718.
In the same area, an "anti-fascist demonstration" on Sunday has also received permission from the police, although not at the same time.
"We have camera surveillance in areas where demonstrations are to take place. And we have resources specifically for the demonstrations tomorrow," says Landberg.
