Among other things, the violent Nazi group Aktivklubb Sverige is planning a gathering. On social media, they write that they plan to "organize" actions in Stockholm over the weekend. However, they have not applied for any permission from the police.
On Saturday evening, around 70 people marched in a demonstration through central Stockholm. According to witnesses at the scene, it was Aktivklubb Sverige that gathered, writes Aftonbladet .
It was an unauthorized public gathering, says police spokesman Robert Sennerdal.
The police monitored the demonstration and no disturbances occurred.
On Sunday, the far-right Alternative for Sweden party was granted permission for a public gathering.
According to the party, it is a torchlight procession to commemorate Charles XII, who fell during the siege of Fredrikssten Fortress in Fredrikshald, Norway, now Halden, on November 30, 1718.
In the same area, an "anti-fascist demonstration" on Sunday has also received permission from the police, although not at the same time.
"We have camera surveillance in areas where demonstrations are to take place. And we have resources specifically for the demonstrations tomorrow (Sunday), says police spokesperson Rebecka Landberg."
