Something has happened so that the need for support has not been translated into a decision to provide assistance, says Annette Lindberg Mohlin (L), chairwoman of the care committee, to Skånes Folkblad.
In both cases, hospitals and healthcare professionals had reported that there was a significant need for nighttime supervision at home. However, help was not provided, and both people suffered falls and died shortly afterward.
Lindberg Mohlin says there are "structural problems" within Landskrona's home care services.
There has been a culture of silence, and now we are turning over every stone.
Landskrona has previously self-reported after two other deaths. In those cases, staff had waited more than two hours to respond to the security alarm.
