Johan Rundberg's "The One Who Guards the Flock" was named the year's best Swedish debut, with the justification "Strong portrayal of a family in disintegration where the unexpected is always lurking around the corner."
Loka Karnarp and Martin Jern receive the Spårhunden award for best children's and young adult detective story. "First Case at Guldhöjden" is, according to the Detective Academy, "An exciting and funny story about private detective Noel's attempts to find assignments in the house where he lives."
The best crime novel translated into Swedish was Sebastian Barry's "For Old Sins".
