She Must Leave "Idol"

Last week, she was praised by the jury. But this week, Paulina Velasquez Gallegos, 18, has to leave "Idol". You really deserve to be here, said the host Pär Lernström.

The theme for this week's Saturday final was songs in Swedish, and the participants got to meet singer Miriam Bryant, who gave them tips on singing in their native language.

The jury gave both praise and criticism during the evening.

Leo Tekiel received standing ovations for his interpretation of Eric Gadd's "Bara himlen ser på" and 16-year-old Margaux Flavet was praised for her ballad version of Håkan Hellström's "Det kommer aldrig va över för mig".

Worse criticism was received by Robin Sohlberg from Värmland, whose subtle country interpretation of Sarek's "Genom eld och vatten" was torn apart by Katia Mosally.

This doesn't work for me, she said.

Lucas Schönefeld was already struggling last week and received some criticism from the jury, including for his song choice. Now he was once again one of the last two participants waiting for his name to be called out. But it was Paulina Velasquez Gallegos who drew the shortest straw.

Her interpretation of Veronica Maggio's "Trädgården en fredag" didn't quite fall in favor with the jury either, and among others, Peg Parnevik mentioned that the 18-year-old had "low energy" during her performance.
