Unemployment fell to 8.6 percent in April, compared to 8.7 percent in March and February, according to seasonally adjusted and trended values from Statistics Sweden (SCB).
Slightly higher unemployment among 15-24-year-olds was offset by fewer unemployed people in the 20-66 age group.
The proportion of employed people relative to the population remained unchanged at 69.2 percent.
But Statistics Sweden said there were "technical problems in connection with the collection of the April LFS".
The problems have been fixed, but Statistics Sweden said they "may have resulted in an underestimation of the number of employed and permanent employees."
