The man, who took on the assignments via "ads" to commit serious crimes in the Telegram app, is sentenced to 14 years in prison by the Uppsala District Court.
The 19-year-old has stated that he would receive 50,000 kronor for throwing the hand grenade and 100,000 kronor for the shooting. However, he does not know who gave him the assignments, as they hid behind aliases and have not been able to be identified.
The incident with the hand grenade occurred on September 11 last year. At the same time as he threw it with one hand, he filmed with his mobile phone in the other. The film found on the man's mobile shows how the grenade explodes outside the door.
No one was injured in the explosion.
The shooting took place five days later, in the afternoon of September 16. There were many people moving around at the location, and several people were also inside the premises, according to the District Court.
The 19-year-old has claimed that he aimed at the floor, but the court finds that he shot straight in and that the people inside risked being hit and killed.
"The man has exposed the victims to an extremely reckless and risky act. Several of them were unable to flee and tried to take cover on the floor and behind furniture," says Judge Karin Lambertz in a comment.
He was arrested by the police nearby shortly afterwards. He then admitted that it was he who had shot.
