Russia will toughen its tone in peace talks on Ukraine, the Kremlin said on Monday, a day after Russia claimed Ukraine had attempted to attack one of President Vladimir Putin's residences, AFP reported.

Russia has refused to share evidence about the alleged Ukrainian attack. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that he did not think there was any need for “any evidence for such a massive drone attack, which was shot down thanks to the well-coordinated work of the air-defence system.”

Ukraine has denied the reports of the alleged attack. According to Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Russia has not provided any “credible evidence,” he writes on X.

“Almost a day has passed and Russia still has not provided any credible evidence for its accusations about Ukraine's alleged 'attack on Putin's residence.' And they will not. Because there is none. No such attack has taken place,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha writes on X.
