Among the dead are nine members of the same family who were killed when Israel bombed the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, reports AFP.

On Friday, the Red Cross warns that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is on the brink of total collapse.

"The situation cannot – and must not – be allowed to escalate further," says the Red Cross's Pascal Hundt in a statement, according to AFP.
The UN's food program, WFP, reported last week that the food stocks had been depleted and that the 25 bakeries in Gaza supported by the organization had been forced to close due to a lack of flour and fuel.
