Passler wants the temporary suspension to be lifted so that she can compete in the ongoing home Olympics, CAS stated in a press release.
The 24-year-old was provisionally suspended on February 2 after testing positive for the banned substance letrozole. Passler argues in her appeal that the positive test result was due to contamination of the sample.
CAS is expected to hold a hearing in the case on February 10.
Letrozole is on the World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) list of prohibited substances and has previously been used by female athletes to lose weight.
Letrozole is also used in the treatment of early-stage breast cancer.
Passler's best World Cup result this season is an 11th-place finish.
