New York Rangers have continued to struggle with scoring goals at home. Now the team has at least managed to break the zero – via a pass from Mika Zibanejad. The first home win, however, seems to be waiting after 1–3 against Minnesota.

In four home games, New York Rangers have scored a total of one goal. That goal came during Monday evening's game via Artemij Panarin – played forward by Mika Zibanejad.

The team was booed by the fans in the previous home game, and apart from a goal in the first minute of play, the goal scoring did not get going this time either. Visiting Minnesota pulled away and won 3–1, thanks to several Swedes.

Jonas Brodin managed to equalize first after a pass from Joel Eriksson. Then Marcus Johansson served the puck to Danila Yurov for the 2–1 goal.

Already in the previous home game against Edmonton, New York Rangers beat Florida's "record" from the 2001-02 season with the longest goal drought at home from the start of a season, according to Expressen.
