Under the name EU Inc. - roughly EU AB in Swedish - the proposal is being launched, which will save time and billions of euros for Europe's innovators.
Any entrepreneur should be able to start a business within 48 hours, from anywhere in the EU and completely digitally, President Ursula von der Leyen said at a press conference.
The fee should be a maximum of 100 euros and the company founder should be free to choose in which country the company is registered. Tax, labor market and other rules should apply as before - that is, depending on where the company operates and has any employees.
The goal is to have the model approved before the end of the year.
