The complainants were primarily critical of director Levan Akin, who in his acceptance speech brought up Israel's war in Gaza.
What we see is a genocide, not a war, said Akin in his acceptance speech after his film "Passage" was named the best film of the year.
Some complaints were also directed at actress Bianca Kronlöf, who criticized the profits in the welfare system, after receiving a Guldbagge for best female lead. Kronlöf was awarded for her role as a caregiver in "As Long as the Heart Beats".
Several complainants thought that host Shima Niavarani took a stance against the government's cultural policy in her jokes.
The Review Board, however, notes that neither the director nor the actress represented SVT in their acceptance speeches. The host's segments were, according to the Board, "of a light-hearted nature" and cannot be considered to violate the requirements of impartiality.
