Over 41,000 people have been killed in the war between Israel and the terrorist-stamped Hamas in Gaza, according to the Hamas-controlled health department in Gaza, which in its statistics does not distinguish between civilians and people fighting for Hamas. Over 96,000 people have been injured since the war started when Hamas attacked Israel in a comprehensive and coordinated attack on October 7 last year, with pure massacres of unarmed civilians.

Israeli figures claim that 17,000 people who fought for Hamas have been killed in Gaza during the war, but have not presented any evidence for this, or reported the number of civilian casualties. However, Israel has previously stated that the reason many civilians have been killed is that Hamas often hides among civilians in densely populated areas.

Furthermore, at least 800 "terrorists" have been killed in Lebanon, most of them members of the terrorist-stamped Hezbollah movement, according to the Israeli military on Monday, writes The Times of Israel.

Hostages remaining in Gaza

During Hamas' attack on Israel a year ago, the terrorist-stamped group killed more than 1,100 people, most of them civilians. Thousands were injured and around 250 were taken as hostages. Today, according to Israel, around 100 hostages who were taken away by Hamas during the attack remain, who have neither been released nor confirmed dead.

At least 1.9 million people, around 90 percent of the population in Gaza, have been forced to flee due to the war, according to UN calculations. Many have been forced to flee several times. More than half of the residential buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed in Israeli attacks.

68 percent of the roads in Gaza have been destroyed, according to a preliminary analysis of images from August this year, reports the UN's satellite analysis agency Unosat. Furthermore, a large part of Gaza's hospitals have been damaged or completely destroyed, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Lost education

Nearly 90 percent of school buildings in Gaza are damaged or destroyed, and up to 625,000 students in Gaza have not been able to continue their education, according to the UN fund for education in crisis situations, Education Cannot Wait (ECW).

346 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza or along the border in Israel since Israel launched its ground operation in Gaza, according to Israel. Nearly 2,300 Israeli soldiers have been reported injured during the same period.

The figures coming from the parties to the war have not been confirmed by independent sources.
