The Swedish women's cross-country skiers have dominated these Olympics, winning seven of nine medals so far. On Saturday, they will be chasing gold in the relay. In addition, Swiss alpine star Marco Odermatt, who has been overshadowed by rising star Franjo von Allmen, will defend his Olympic gold in the giant slalom.

+ The women's cross-country team is chasing its third straight gold medal

Frida Karlsson has unsettled the Norwegians with her dominance. Ebba Andersson has taken silver behind her. Now they are big favorites in the relay, where they won bronze in the Beijing Olympics four years ago.

+ The superstar wants to take back the spotlight

Marco Odermatt came to the Olympics as the undisputed Swiss alpine star. But a week into the Games, it is debutant compatriot Franjo von Allmen - not Odermatt - who has won three gold medals. Odermatt, with four straight overall World Cup titles, has had to settle for a bronze in the super-G, silver in the team event and a fourth place in the downhill. Next is the giant slalom, where the Swiss is the reigning champion.

+ Tre Kronor chases the group victory

Victory in the opening match against Italy - loss to Finland yesterday. Now Slovakia awaits Tre Kronor's NHL stars in the group stage of the men's Olympic tournament.

+ Is it getting easier for the biathlon women?

The Olympics have been a disappointment for the Swedish biathlon women so far. Hanna Öberg, Elvira Öberg, Linn Gestblom and Anna Magnusson will get a chance for revenge in today's sprint race.
