Emil Iversen, Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget and Einar Hedegart did the preparatory work. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo brought it home.
Norway's men's cross-country team won the Olympic relay by a landslide, finishing 22 seconds ahead of France and 48 seconds ahead of Italy.
With the victory, Klæbo is now the only Winter Olympian with nine Olympic gold medals. Three other Norwegian sports icons - cross-country skiers Marit Bjørgen and Bjørn Dæhlie and biathlete Ole Einar Bjørndalen - have eight.
It's cool. I just tried to enjoy today. Succeeding in that and taking a ninth gold with the team is special. It couldn't be more perfect, says Klæbo.
He has won four out of four golds in Val di Fiemme so far, and the last ten championship golds overall. There could be two more before the Olympics are over: the sprint relay and the 50 km.
