The Norwegian team has more than just honor to play for in this summer's European Championship in football.

If the team wins the tournament, the players will receive over the equivalent of 720,000 kronor in gold bonus - a new record.

In the European Championship in England three years ago, Norway was eliminated already in the group stage.

In this year's tournament, the host nation Switzerland, Iceland, and Finland await in the initial phase.

Sweden will meet Norway in a genre rehearsal match before the European Championship on June 26 in Oslo.
