Åberg was a bit into the third round still in the absolute top struggle in the competition.
But after three bogeys and a double bogey, Åberg has sunk on the result list, although four birdies improved the figures somewhat.
With +1 for the day, Åberg is currently in sixth place with a total of –10.
It was quite shaky at times, but I thought I was doing okay at times. Got a little better on the last nine (holes) in general, but a bit too bad overall today, says Åberg.
Considerably better has it gone for Alex Norén during the third round. The 43-year-old went six under par for the day after six birdies, two bogeys, and an eagle.
On a total of –15, Norén now shares the lead with the Frenchman Adrien Saddier, who went seven under par in the third round.
I'll try to chase him tomorrow. We'll see a bit how the weather and wind look, but I'll try to come out aggressively tomorrow when we get started and try to chase the top, says Åberg.
It's going to be so much fun, I love this. Now I'm going to prepare for tomorrow and have a clear picture of what I'm going to do, says Norén about tomorrow's decisive round.
Joakim Lagergren went on par for the day and is on a total of –7, which means 31st place for the time being.
Ludvig Åberg is the only Swede who has been selected for the European team in the Ryder Cup in two weeks.
