To the sounds of a reinterpreted "Romeo and Juliet", the Swedish couple put on a solid performance in the ice dancing final.
They enjoyed the experience and were not looking for any further advancement from their 19th place before the free program.
"We achieved something we never thought we would. We just went out and enjoyed it," Majorov tells Swedish Radio.
The pair's 97.74 in the final was only enough for last place among the 20 who advanced. But making the final at all was an achievement, and the pair has won the hearts of the audience.
"That's when I started looking around a bit and was amazed at how much the crowd was screaming. It was divine to skate, I'm not going to lie - it was absolutely amazing," says Majorov.
The gold went to the French pair Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron.
