Second and third last weekend in Östersund. Anna Magnusson continued to impress in Hochfilzen. She came third in the sprint – and she now leads the World Cup. It's a dream come true, Magnusson tells SVT.

Anna Magnusson shot hard and finished 16.1 seconds behind the winning Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot. Norwegian Maren Kirkeeide came in second, one second ahead of the Swede.

With the podium finish, Anna Magnusson took over as World Cup leader from Finland's Suvi Minkkinen and will be riding in the yellow leader's vest in the pursuit start on Sunday. Friday's winner Jeanmonnot is the new second.

"It's a dream come true, I really didn't expect to do that. Incredibly cool, I'm really looking forward to it," says Magnusson.

Rolling on

She says she has no idea why things are going so well now. She started the World Cup in Östersund with a ninth place in the distance race and then came second and third in the sprint and pursuit start, respectively.

It just keeps rolling, I feel calm and have my head with me the whole time. It's like it's going by itself little by little.

She says she has previously seen others in the so-called zone.

I've felt like it was really fun to get to know it. Now I've got it. All fall I've felt relaxed and strong.

Magnusson was the only Swede in the top ten. Hanna Öberg finished eleventh, with one miss, Ella Halvarsson came in 22nd with two misses and Elvira Öberg came in 29th place with three misses.

Gestlebloom back

Linn Gestblom made a comeback in individual biathlon after almost 22 months. She finished 37th after missing three shots in the standing biathlon.

"I couldn't handle the skeet shooting. My heart almost beat out of my chest, it was beating so hard. There was a lot of movement and I couldn't handle it," she tells SVT.

I want to remake that series.

A week ago, Hanna Öberg missed out on the sprint, but picked up 50 places and came ninth in the pursuit start. Before this week's pursuit start, she "only" has 46 seconds to make up:

It will be a good starting point, she tells SVT.
