Lisa Vittozzi, Italy, won by just over eleven seconds to Anna Magnusson. Norway's Maren Kirkeeide came third, 39.5 seconds behind.
"It was incredibly fun, I really enjoyed today and really felt no pressure. It was just a lot of fun," says Magnusson.
Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot, who won the sprint and started first in the pursuit, missed two shots in the final round. Before that, Jeanmonnot and Magnusson took turns as leaders after missing their second and third rounds, respectively.
I had a good first lap, had good skis. It was two zeros and I was close. I didn't want to go too hard, but then it was a bust there (in third). But it was fun to be three in the last place. I'm very happy that I pushed on and put everyone, says Magnusson.
I tried to go for it (on the last lap) but I felt like I was tired and couldn't feel like I was taking anything in. She was too strong there, Vittozzi.
"A cool feeling"
Anna Magnusson came third in the sprint on Friday. In the premiere in Östersund last weekend, she came second in the sprint and third in the pursuit. This means she has been on the podium in four consecutive individual races and she extended her lead in the World Cup.
It's incredible. This season has already exceeded all expectations. But I want to keep working. My form is at a stable level. I might have a few more gears, but there's not much to complain about. It's so much fun, a great feeling when it just happens by itself.
Elvira Öberg climbed hard
Elvira Öberg worked her way up from 29th place at the start to fifth after fast shooting and two misses. Her sister Hanna Öberg started in eleventh place and finished eleventh after missing the chance for a good placement with a total of five misses.
Ella Halvarsson was on her way to a very good placing after three flawless shots, but then lost with three misses on the last standing shooting. She came in 23rd. Linn Gestblom also missed on the last shooting with three misses after flawless shooting before that. She came in 26th.
