The sum was presented by Ambassador Matthew Whitaker ahead of the alliance's defense ministers' meeting on Thursday, when new orders are expected, according to Whitaker.
21 allies and two partners have pledged their support, he said.
Norway, the Netherlands and Germany are identified as the main buyers in the Purl initiative, where other NATO countries buy weapons from the United States to give to Ukraine.
When the alliance's defense ministers meet in Brussels, however, the US secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, will not be present due to "time constraints." The US will instead be represented by deputy secretary of defense Elbridge Colby.
