The artwork, created by Australian Gordon Hookey, shows, among other things, the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, controlling the American Capitol like a puppet, and has been criticized by, among others, Christer Mattsson of the Segerstedt Institute at the University of Gothenburg, who has researched anti-Semitism.

In an interview with a news site run by entrepreneur and right-wing commentator Henrik Jönsson, Mattsson points out that the work can be interpreted as anti-Semitic.

The museum's exhibition director, Fredrik Liew, emphasizes that the artists in the exhibition were given artistic freedom and that the work does not reflect the museum's views, but that it is the museum's responsibility to provide the audience with the appropriate context. Therefore, the presentation text is now being changed.
