This is not how it can look, losing 3–0 and 4–2. We are better and smarter than this, says Sirius midfielder Melker Heier to TV4 Play.
The home team's sharpshooter Robbie Ure scored four goals for the winning team in the Allsvenskan restart.
But they still didn't win the match.
Sirius led both 3–0 and 4–2 - but substitute Tom Pettersson saved a point for Mjällby in the 91st minute.
“The World Cup is boring”
Aki Samuelsen was the one who got Mjällby back into the game. Within eight minutes, he cut the deficit twice to 3–2.
By then, Robbie Ure had scored two goals in four minutes at the start of the second half, completing a hat-trick.
When he scored his fourth goal, the match looked settled again.
Then Ludvig Svanberg reduced the deficit with nine minutes left before Tom Pettersson equalized in added time.
Mjällby coach Karl Marius Aksum to TV4:
"It's fun with the Allsvenskan, the World Cup is boring. Of course I'm happy with a point, but it's incredibly weak to concede four goals," he says and continues:
I'm shocked by the start of the second half, the game is almost over, but then I have to praise the guys for the heart and quality to come back.
Replacement already ready
For Sirius it was the second win of the season - the other nine matches have ended in defeats. The Uppsala team leads the Allsvenskan with nine points ahead of second-placed Häcken, who have one match less played.
Robbie Ure's four goals mean he moves up to the league's top scorer with 11, two ahead of fellow striker Isak Björkebo. The question is whether both will remain when the transfer window opens on July 8. Sirius has already signed Dutch striker Jesper Uneken, who will be ready for the next round.
