Concerns about confetti, sound problems and untapped energy potential. Ahead of the third round of Melodifestivalen, not everything is quite in place - but the audience in Kristianstad has already had its say.

After the rehearsal on Friday night, Medina received more than half of the votes in a Melodifestivalen audience survey - a total of 57.8 percent.

Saga Ludvigsson is in a potential second place with 12.9 percent, closely followed by Korslagta at 11.9 percent.

Not satisfied

The betting companies also predict that Medina will win in Kristianstad. But unlike in the audience survey, Saga Ludvigsson is in third place and Korslagta in second place.

"That's what's so tricky about Mello," says Saga Ludvigsson about her chances.

"Nobody thought I would advance last year, but it went well anyway, so it's hard to say anything. I try not to think about it."

But that doesn't mean she doesn't want to advance. She wants it so much that she avoids taking action for fear of getting sick - and she's not yet completely satisfied with her performance.

"This wasn't my best performance. The others went better," she says, developing her self-criticism:

"I feel like I can do a little better in terms of energy, but it feels good to know that I have an extra gear."

Got scared by a bang

The big favorite Medina was full of energy on stage.

The duo was showered with so much confetti that Medina member Sami Rekik was frightened by the bang that triggered it.

"We'll check how much it was, because we didn't have time to realize it. We were scared by that bang. They hadn't prepared us for it. We knew there would be confetti, but not that much," he says.

Medina has previously stated that it would be a dream to win the entire competition, but that their top priority is to "just enjoy it."

That attitude is also shared by the rock band Korslagta, who the bookmakers tipped as winners at the beginning of the week. Then something happened - but the question is what?

"They may have heard the song and then they probably thought that this song could never win," says band member Pedro Sanchez (Håkan Sörle).

The sound was distorted.

When Ubbe Näslund - whose real name is Stefan Sjur - stepped off stage, he was heard answering "no" when asked if it went well.

"It was the sound that was messed up. My mic was very hard to hear. We'll turn up the volume next time so it's not a problem," he says.

How do you see your chances of winning?

"We usually say that believing is done in church. We are actually going there in the morning. I think then we can believe a little together and later in the evening we'll know," says Pedro Sanchez.
