The British triphop band joins a new initiative in the music industry that aims to block their music from streaming in Israel, according to AFP.
The initiative "No music for genocide" has been formed by a musician and record company association that has been inspired by the group "Film workers for Palestine", which has also demanded a cultural boycott of Israel due to the war in Gaza.
"We urge all musicians to convert their sorrow, anger and artistic drive into a coherent, reasonable and necessary action to put an end to the unspeakable hell that affects the Palestinian people, hour after hour", the band writes on Instagram.
The band has also asked record companies to remove their songs from Spotify. The reason is that the streaming service's CEO Daniel Ek has invested in a European defense technology company.
