An external investigator has pointed out major question marks regarding governance and economy, and the association has not been willing to provide all the underlying data requested, writes Malmö City in a press release.
Sydsvenskan revealed in December last year that the association's two CEOs earn millions on the operation, which is financed through grants from the municipality and a number of government agencies.
Malmö City has, according to the newspaper, paid out 17.8 million kronor to the association since 2019. Following the revelation, the payments were temporarily stopped, and now the external investigator proposes that they not be restarted.
