A goal with eight seconds left – and the winning goal in overtime. Reigning champion Luleå turned around a huge drama against successful newcomer Djurgården and won 3–2. Mathias Bromé, back from injury, scored the decisive goal and became the two-goal scorer.

It has been tough for the Norrbotten team, which just before the international break suffered four straight losses and only managed to score one goal in them.

But during the international break, things have happened.

Brendan Shinnimin has returned after a long wait for tax reasons, the team has signed Canadian forward star Ben Tardif from Finnish Kärpät and has received two key players back from injuries, forwards Brian O'Neill and Mathias Bromé.

It worked.

Even if it was far away.

Djurgården led 2–1 until eight seconds remained, when the home team's Markus Nurmi was able to equalize with goalkeeper Joel Lassinantti picked out.

In connection with the goal, Djurgården's Mathias Emilio Pettersen was given a match penalty for a slashing on the home team's defender Frederic Allard.

With a numerical advantage in extra time, Mathias Bromé was able to score his second goal of the night. Ben Tardif was noted for an assist in his debut.

Great-playing Djurgård goalkeeper Magnus Hellberg was critical of his Norwegian teammate.

We'll take a penalty there... you have to try to keep it together, Hellberg tells TV4 Play.

"I'm very disappointed when they equalize as late as they do. When we're so close, it's really sad," Hellberg adds.
