The German airline Lufthansa will employ around 10,000 people during the year, a sign of the industry's recovery after the covid-19 pandemic.
The airline is now seeking 800 pilots and 2,000 flight attendants, while technicians, other ground staff, and various administrators make up the rest.
During the pandemic, the Lufthansa Group - which also owns several other airlines and industry players - cut around 30,000 jobs but has since hired.
Last year, the workforce increased by 13,000, according to board member Michael Niggemann.
The Lufthansa Group has over 100,000 employees in more than 90 countries.
