After a worse Friday, Ludvig Åberg was forced to deliver a dream round to have something to do with the tight struggle during the PGA tour event Truist Championship in Pennsylvania in the USA.
But it was the exact opposite. And once again, it was the putter that caused the most trouble.
The Swede started with seven pars, a birdie, and a bogey during the first nine, but it went worse on the last nine.
Åberg made a double bogey on the 12th hole after missing a two-meter putt, and followed it up with a bogey on the 13th after missing a par putt that didn't even reach a meter.
When the 25-year-old was done for the day, the scorecard read +5, after hitting into the water on the 16th hole and making another double bogey.
It's the fourth worst round of the day, and only four players have a worse total score than the Swede, who plummeted to a shared 61st place after the nightmare round.
It didn't go much better for Alex Norén, who was higher up than Åberg on the leaderboard before Saturday. The 42-year-old finished the day at two over par, and –3 total, which means a mid-field position.
The leader is Austrian Sepp Straka, together with Irishman Shane Lowry, with a total of –14, after going the third round at –4 and –3 respectively.
