LeBron James still can. He had 28 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds last night, and at the same time became the oldest NBA player ever to record a triple-double.

With just over two minutes left in the game against the Dallas Mavericks, James grabbed his 10th rebound - and with that he had reached double figures in three different categories. The basketball legend, 41 years and 44 days old, thus surpassed Karl Malone's old record (40 years, 127 days) as the oldest player to record a triple-double.

The effort from LeBron James - the NBA's all-time leading scorer - contributed greatly to his Los Angeles Lakers' 124–104 home win over Dallas.

James received a standing ovation when he was replaced by his son Bronny James in the final minutes.
