Kylian Mbappé's flying start to this year's World Cup has gone into the history books. The two goals in the 3-1 win over Senegal were his 57th and 58th for France, taking him past Olivier Giroud to become France's all-time top scorer.
If the 27-year-old's goalscoring form continues, there is every reason to believe he will break more records during the tournament. With 14 goals, he has moved past Lionel Messi on the list of all-time World Cup goals and is just two strikes away from matching Germany's Miroslav Klose's record of 16 World Cup goals.
France plays its next World Cup match late Monday evening, local time in Sweden, against Iraq.
