Hollywood satire "The studio" and Batman crime drama "The Penguin" were the big winners of the evening at the Creative Arts Emmy gala in Los Angeles.

The two series won nine and eight awards, respectively.

Also, "Sound of music" star Julie Andrews was awarded for her contribution as narrator in the costume drama "Bridgerton". The statuette becomes 89-year-old Andrews' third Emmy.

Creative Arts Emmy is a two-part pre-gala that awards almost 100 prizes. Most go to behind-the-scenes people in things like lighting, set design and stunt, but also to guest actors.

During the night until Monday, Swedish time, more awards will be handed out when it's time for the second part.

The actual Emmy gala takes place on September 14.
