Liza Alexandrova-Zorina wins the Grand Journalism Prize in the category of Storyteller of the Year for her reportage book “The Land of the Serfs.” In the book, she examines the underbelly of the Swedish construction industry and the Russian-speaking parallel society.
The SVT documentary "Gaza - to the last breath" wins an award in the category of innovator of the year.
The Voice of the Year award goes to comedian and "Swedish News" program host Messiah Hallberg, who with "courage, sharpness and comic precision week after week sheds light on the bizarre, the outrageous and reveals something new about our time."
The prize money in each category is SEK 100,000. The prize was established in 1966 by the media company Bonnier.
