Tonight's match is the first in a double header – the return match will be played in Stockholm on Tuesday – where the winner will advance to the European Championship 2025.
Sweden's national team captain Peter Gerhardsson has therefore chosen not to take any chances with one of his most important players. Fridolina Rolfö has not played at all since the national team matches against Luxembourg at the end of October, and will start tonight's match on the bench.

Bayern Munich's Magdalena Eriksson will start as center back. Eriksson also comes to the gathering with injury problems and has only made a short substitute appearance recently.
