US Senator Elizabeth Warren demands in a letter seen by the Financial Times that Dimon lay his cards on the table regarding the bank's and his own contacts with Epstein.
The demand was made after the British diplomat Lord Peter Mandelson said in an email exchange with Epstein in 2009 that Dimon should call then British Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling to threaten to soften a tax on bank bonuses.
According to Darling's memoirs, a "very angry" Dimon called and explained that JPMorgan was a major employer, a major holder of British government securities and could stop major investments in the country.
