Varenna on picturesque Lake Como has had enough. No more bare breasts and tourists in swimsuits in the fishing village's cobblestone alleys, reports The Guardian.
The village in northern Italy has a population of around 650 people, but in summer it is invaded by tourists.
"Varenna is a wonderful village and we are proud to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. But the quality of life of our residents cannot be sacrificed on the altar of mass tourism," Mayor Mauro Manzoni told The Guardian.
Swimwear is now only allowed on beaches and boats.
In addition, tourists traveling in groups are limited to a maximum of 25 people, and guides are prohibited from using megaphones.
