The recent weeks' talks between the US and Iran have come to a standstill. Both parties want an agreement – the US wants Iran to stop uranium enrichment and Iran wants to get rid of sanctions against the country. Despite this, the parties seem to have reached a dead end. Iran announces that it plans a new enrichment facility.

The US is taking home non-essential personnel from the region, as Iran threatens to respond to any attacks from Israel by attacking American targets.

Shortly after 2 am Swedish time, night towards Friday, explosions are heard in Iran's capital Tehran. For several hours, the attacks continue, carried out with 200 fighter jets. Two more Israelis are killed when a missile hits a suburb of Tel Aviv, according to Israeli media.
