India has with its naked aggression attacked with robots. Nur Khan base, Murid base, and Shorkot base have been targets, says the military Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in state TV.
Most of the robots are said to have been shot down, he claims.
Khan base in Rawalpindi, where the Pakistani military has its headquarters, is located about a mile from Islamabad.
Attacking India
Pakistan has in turn struck with its own retaliatory attacks against "several places in India", reports state Pakistani media.
An Indian weapons depot for robots and Indian air bases in Pathankot and Udhampur have been identified as targets by Pakistan's military, which claims to have attacked with ballistic robots.
Powerful explosions have been heard during the night at several places in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir, including in the cities of Srinagar, Jammu, and Udhampur, reports AP with reference to eyewitness accounts.
India has not commented on the reports of last night's attacks.
Fourth day of violence
It is the fourth day of escalated military violence between the two nations.
The tensions have increased sharply after a massacre of tourists on April 22 in the Indian-controlled part of the long-disputed Kashmir region.
India accuses Pakistan of having given its support to the perpetrators, which is denied by the country.
Last night, India carried out an air strike against what the country describes as terrorist targets, in response to the massacre. The two nuclear-armed nations have traded several deadly blows since then.
