More than a hundred Russian drones are reported to have been sent against Ukraine overnight. This happens at the same time as the Russian regime in the Kremlin has dismissed the country's transport chief after a weekend of chaos with stranded Russian planes after threats from Ukrainian drones.
Ten people are reported to have been killed and 38 injured, including three children, in various parts of Ukraine.
The country's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyj, says on Monday that Russia has sent around 1,270 drones, 39 missiles and almost a thousand so-called glide bombs. The latter is an old refurbished bomb from the Soviet era.
The capital Kyiv has been attacked by several drones. There, buildings have been damaged but the attack has not resulted in deaths, according to the city's mayor.
Russia reports that 91 Ukrainian drones have been shot down during the night, eight of them in the Moscow region. Most of the other drones are said to have been stopped in regions bordering Ukraine.
