Hammarby is still leading the women's top division with 42 points, but top contenders Malmö FF (41 points) and Häcken (40) have one game less played. Fourth-placed Djurgården now stands at 37 points.
"Bajen" pushed for a winning goal at the Stockholm stadium in front of over 3,600 spectators during the second half. The visitors had finishes close outside, a ball in the crossbar and a goal disallowed for offside, but never managed to get past Anna Koivunen in Djurgården's goal.
Sawed the lawn
Instead, Urara Watanabe could pick up a loose ball in the penalty area and score 2-1 in the 95th minute of the game for her Djurgården.
As the players struggle and empty themselves. Fantastic. I'm so happy, says Djurgården coach Marcelo Fernández Figueroa to SVT.
It was 1-1 after the first half and in the interval interviews, most of it was about the Stockholm stadium's lawn.
The pitch is a disaster, says Hammarby's team captain Alice Carlsson to SVT.
It's probably the worst pitch I've seen, but no excuses in any way. Instead, we see that we can play our game and we need to do it more often, continues Carlsson.
"Lousy fun"
She got support from Djurgården's former national team striker Mimmi Wahlström (formerly Larsson).
I don't think it's lousy fun either, but you just have to buy it, says Wahlström to SVT.
Mimmi Wahlström put Djurgården ahead 1-0 as early as the fifth minute, but barely half an hour later, Asato Miyagawa equalized.
