After six rounds, Halmstad is still without a win, with two draws and four losses. The weak start is now having consequences.

Lindholm took over the club as interim coach midway through the 2024 season, after Magnus Haglund had to leave. After securing Allsvenskan status that same year, he received continued trust and signed a three-year contract for 2025.
