The away team Kristianstad started the best and could take the lead after just a quarter of an hour through midfielder Alice Egner.
Ten minutes later, Häcken got the opportunity for quick revenge through an awarded penalty kick. However, Hisingen's big talent Felicia Schröder missed it and the hunt for equalization had to continue.
The equalizing goal came just before the break through Canadian Carly Wickenheiser.
”Chaos match”
The second half then offered a large game advantage from Häcken, with 19 shots on goal. However, there would never be a net hit and the final result was written to 1–1. Häcken thus missed the chance to take the league lead from Hammarby and is third in the table, two points behind "Bajen".
A chaos match with a lot of back and forth. We tried to press them, win balls and create chances on it. At times it worked well and at times it worked less well. Really tough lost points, says Häcken's national team goalkeeper Jennifer Falk after the match.
Another top team, Djurgården, was unexpectedly down against the bottom team Alingsås at the break. Then Blåränderna sharpened themselves and could win with a whole 5–1.
Djurgården thus maintains the connection to the top trio Hammarby, Malmö and Häcken in the women's all-Swedish league.
Alingsås is still last in the series and has a whole six points up to the negative qualifying spot.
Debut for the veteran
National team center back Linda Sembrant has surprisingly returned home to Sweden after eleven years in foreign clubs.
The 38-year-old made her debut today for AIK, but had to wait on the bench until the 77th minute before being substituted in. AIK lost the home game against Piteå with 0–1. Saga Swedman scored the goal in the 75th minute.
Sembrant's AIK is sixth in the table.
