Many Swedish stars are injured, but Sweden's national team captain, Graham Potter, is optimistic about the World Cup playoffs in March. "There is time," Potter said at a press conference.

Alexander Isak has a broken leg. Dejan Kulusevski has a knee injury. Lucas Bergvall and goalkeeper Viktor Johansson are also injured.

The situation is tough ahead of the Swedish men's national team as they face Ukraine in Spain on March 26 in the playoff semi-final.

"It's hard to say. There's still time, and I hope," says Graham Potter at a press conference.

The national team coach has been in contact with both Isak and Kulusevski lately.

"I've talked to both of them. They're optimistic. They have good rehab teams behind them and there's a chance," he says.

The winner of the playoff semi-final will advance to a decisive final for a place at this summer's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico. In the final, Poland or Albania await on home soil.
