San Jose was on the way to victory against Vegas in the NHL ice hockey. But goalkeeper chaos put a stop to that. We really had luck, says Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy.

Vegas won with 4–3 after overtime.

San Jose led the home game with 3–2 with two minutes left and William Eklund got the chance to decide in an empty net.

But was stopped twice.

Instead, Vegas' Jack Eichel got the puck and shot a shot from the blue line that got a strange bounce and fooled San Jose goalkeeper Alex Nedeljkovic.

And in overtime, Nedeljkovic rushed towards the blue line to clear the puck before Reilly Smith would get to it, but failed and Smith could calmly move towards the goal and put the puck in the open net.

A bit of October hockey, I suppose. The hockey gods were with us tonight. I actually feel sorry for him (Nedeljkovic). He had a good game, says Bruce Cassidy according to nhl.com.

Alexander Wennberg made it 2–1 for San Jose in the second period, assisted by his Swedish colleagues William Eklund and John Klingberg.
